What is an OPPM?

  • Organisational Policies and Procedures Manual
  • Policies and procedures are an essential part of any organisation.
  • An OPPM provides a roadmap for day-to-day operations.
  • They ensure compliance with laws and regulations, give guidance for decision-making and streamline internal processes.
  • But they only work if employees know how to access them, are trained to follow them and consistently apply them.

Benefits of an OPPM

  • Are consistent with the values of the organisation
  • Comply with employment and other associated legislation
  • Demonstrate the organisation is being operated in an efficient and responsible manner
